This is a skeleton web site for holiday home owners, who wishes to rent their holiday accommodations to visitors from around the world.

Really, what is this?
aPortal is a skeleton web application that consumes data from a public web service. The web service is called OpenVacancy and is the data container for this project. The web site is easy extendable and fits small to medium sized landlords. You will need an API key to have full functionality from the web service. The API key is free for landlords. See the details below, for information on how to obtain an API key to the OpenVacancy web service.

How do I manage my accommodations?
You can manage your accommodation directly through the web service. If you wish, there’s a management interface available for Windows.

OpenVacancy, public web service. Is it safe?
  • Your data is yours. We don't mess with it!
  • Your data is available. You can access your data from anywhere at any time. Either from the management software or the web service API.
  • Your data I portable. You can extract all data and close your account at any time.

How do I get an API key to OpenVacancy
The API key is free for landlords. You can get your API key by sending an email to apikey@openvacancy.net. Please tell us the following information:
  • The name of your company
  • Your name
  • Your company contact information (address, phone and email address)
  • Number of accommodation

It will take about 24 hours to process your request.
